CASO · awarded by Technical Operations Group

CASO Certification

Awarded on completion of CASO I. Confirms the holder can safely discover, synthesize, analyze, and report publicly available information using secure research tradecraft.

The CASO certification is earned by completing the ten-day CASO I course and its practical assessments. It is the entry point to the CASO curriculum: CASO II, Dark Web Immersion, Investigational Python, and the Virtual Operations Tradecraft Course all require it.

Certain expedited offerings, such as the five-day AOIT² track, require a CASO certification earned within the previous year and regular use of open-source research since.

Certificates are issued through the TOG course manager on completion. CASO is US Government only; contractors may attend only when sponsored and paid for by a US Government customer.
